Common ≠ Normal
Women frequently hear from doctors and some sex therapists that their concerns and physical issues are normal. Are in fact common. However, conditions such as incontinence, painful sex and severe back pain during pregnancy are not normal experiences that should be dismissed. It's essential for women to recognize that their issues are valid, impact many others in similar situations, and should not be considered just a regular part of life. Just because something is common does not mean it is normal.

We are passionate about Pelvic Floor Pain
Many women deal with issues related to vaginal penetration, frequently expressing that they experience discomfort or pain during intercourse or even when inserting a tampon. Additionally, many of these women report persistent feelings of soreness and/or tightness in the pelvic floor muscles, which can further exacerbate their already existing challenges. These troubling symptoms often escalate to the point where they become uncomfortable at best or, unbearable at worst. It is important to note that vaginal pain can occur without a clear cause, even after a thorough check-up by a doctor. Femina is dedicated to helping women improve their health and quality of life through specialized pelvic floor Physical Therapy. Our skilled and compassionate therapists work diligently to relieve pelvic pain, supporting women in their journey to restore their pelvic health and significantly reduce pain in their daily lives, both inside and outside of the bedroom.
